Financial Aid & Scholarships

Workflow and eForms

Through the use of Scanning and Document Workflow system Financial Aid & Scholarships (FAS) provides students with a more convenient and efficient way to submit requests through the use of eForms.

How it works

Financial Aid forms are processed in this workflow.  Documents can be scanned, imported from a share drive, or sent to an email address to be brought into ImageNow through the Mail Agent.  Six e-forms are part of this workflow. iScripts are used to automatically update PeopleSoft checklists for some documents.

Financial Aid & Scholarships e-forms:

  • Additional Stafford Loans Graduate
  • Additional Stafford Loans Undergraduate
  • Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loans
  • Federal Work Study
  • International Student Need Analysis Worksheet (ISNAW)
  • Summer Aid Request Form

Benefits

Student Time Savings: The e-forms are a more convenient and faster way for students to submit requests to FAS. Students can authenticate and fill out the form in just a few minutes. Once they “Submit,” the form is transmitted to FAS electronically. The student no longer has to print the form, fill it out, sign it and then scan, fax, mail or drop off the form to FAS. In addition, the form is automatically linked to the student’s file and sent to the appropriate workflow queue, which speeds up the processing time. That means the student receives a quicker response.
